24 October 2005
Dear PAE,
I am writing with a job posting from the Economics Department,
University of Massachusetts (USA), Amherst,
http://www.umass.edu/economics/.
We have placed the ad in some of
both the mainstream and the heterodox outlets linked on the PAE
web
page. However, I am also sending the posting directly to PAE because
I believe that my colleagues at UMass are doing the
kinds of economics
that will interest and engage many PAE contributors
and subscribers.
I hope that some PAE participants will choose to
apply for a position
at UMass. If there is an opportunity to
circulate the job posting in
the PAE community, I would be most grateful.
Please do not hesitate
to contact me (email below). Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Michael Ash
